Limited Edition canvas zippered bags~

Greetings friends!!!!!

I'm so excited to introduce my lightweight canvas zippered 12 x 15 project bags....

****All bags in creme/red and creme/gray are SOLD*** Thanks SO, SO much!!****

They are functional, durable and I have to say I L*O*V*E the red screen print on the creme background.... The catch is~ I have enough of this particular fabric to offer 15 bags.... I also have the same fabric in a creme with grey print...It is beautiful also! ..... No photo yet, but I have that fabric on hand also..... The bags are 30.00 plus mailing.... So comment here, PM me on Facebook or email me if you are interested~ I will accept orders on a first come, first serve basis.....

Today's picture walk......

Okay, some of you know that I have a habit of just typing away and not looking for spell check to auto correct words.... I SHOULD, because I have managed to send out some crazy messages here lately!!! I really do need to get better about looking before I hit that "send" button! Right Nan and T??

This gem of a design is by sweet Kathy Barrick of Kathy Barrick Designs and it was a pleasure to stitch! I began the stitch last weekend while at the PSS Retreat.... And, it was finished just now as I sit in my condo weathering out the Ana storm..... So** I've named this colorful bird Ana to commemorate all the events~

 

Stitched on 32 count linen by Dixie Sampler, I used the DMC threads that were called for; 2 over 2..... Linen color is Peanut Butter~

Thanks again Kathy for your awesome designs..... I have many more on my to-do list!!happu

I know I promised to show you a couple of the newest project bags I'll be creating using a mid-weight canvas, and I will.... But, since I'm still working on things, I'll show you a few of the latest project bags Ive made for you... Prim Stitchers Retreat....and more!

 

 

Greetings all!!!!! It's been a little while, but I've been busy~~ and...loving it!

Many of you have heard about the ever popular Prim Stitchers Retreat that took place in beautiful Williamsburg VA this past weekend.... Well, if you weren't lucky enough to attend, you REALLY missed a fantastic retreat! I was fortunate to be there and had the time of my life! Here are a few photos of our festivities....

Here I am with a few of my BFF's... Pat Simon, Nan Lewis along with my roomie, Cindy Cabrey surround me at my table in the Merchandise Mall.... Hey ladies...waving at all of you!!

And, here is one of the Retreat class pieces.... An original design by Kathy Barrick** I was fortunate enough to finish this model for Kathy** it's really, really nice when you see it in person.... Outside....

 

I finished the inside with wool, antique buttons and pins.....( inside view)

 

Another class was taught by Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm..... A darling prim hanging pocket to be worn to hold your name badge, special trinkets and anything you may want to save~~ Here is mine....

 

I added a small stitched patch to commemorate this inaugural event.... I never will forget it~~

 

 

And.... Here are our fearless Administrators.... Terri aka Dixie Sampler...

Here is the darling exchange piece I received from Elizabeth of Dames of the Needle.... A small wool bag.....This picture doesn't begin to do justice to the pretty stitch on the nice dark purple wool embellished with the awesome mini Pom Pom trim that Elizabeth produces.... It's just priceless! Thanks again Elizabeth... It's perfect!

Here is the diddle bag I made for the Exchange.... It's a wonderful design by the talented Tammy Black of Scattered Seeds..... This the front view...

And, I put a small appliqué heart on the back.....

 

 

I leave you with a few parting pics of my table at the Merchandise Mall... I was blown away at all the Carolina Stitcher goodies that were sold.... I truly appreciate each of those of you who purchased project bags, project rolls and fobs.... You helped make my first ever experience as a Vendor a huge success.... I am humbled~

 

 

 

 

I will be offering a sampling of canvas bags soon... They were well received at the Retreat, so I'll make more~~.... I found this beautiful fabric only days before leaving for VA, so I only had a chance to sew a few...Its a creme background with a pretty red French screen print...... now YOU will have an opportunity to take advantage of this special limited edition project bag.... More to come on this next week....

So it's back to the routine and I'll be resuming my finishing for you guys.... If you have an order in with me, thanks for the patience... My machine is now humming once again~~
